Module work

Source
Expand description

Tasks, notes, links and focus behind the window (docs/tasks.md).

Tasks are written to their listโ€™s folder at once, then the accountโ€™s sync sends them, as contacts and events are. The plan is computed again after every change, on a thread; the window only lays out what the core worded. Everything links reach (tasks, events, contacts, notes, drafts, mail headers) is read once per change and kept, so the Related panel answers at once.

Structsยง

Closed ๐Ÿ”’
The day closed: the screen to show, when work comes back, and its first step.
Closing ๐Ÿ”’
The screen after closing the day, read in ten seconds: where work went and when it comes back, what got done if anything, the first step, what still gets through. Nothing counts what was not done (docs/tasks.md).
Deadline ๐Ÿ”’
A date asked that falls before work comes back: told once, at closing.
Desk ๐Ÿ”’
The plan, and what it needs, from what was read.
FirstStep ๐Ÿ”’
The planโ€™s first step when work comes back: in words, and its task.
FocusShown ๐Ÿ”’
Found ๐Ÿ”’
KindChoice ๐Ÿ”’
ListChoice ๐Ÿ”’
NoteRow ๐Ÿ”’
NotesShown ๐Ÿ”’
ProjectChoice ๐Ÿ”’
TasksShown ๐Ÿ”’
What the task page shows: its four views at once, so switching is instant.
WorkState ๐Ÿ”’
