This computer, as sharing knows it: its name, the machine it was made on (a copied configuration on another machine gets a name of its own), the folder it shares through.
Fields§
§id: String§machine: String§folder: Option<String>§parts: BTreeMap<String, bool>The parts this device shares or not, as chosen here (PARTS): never
shared, each device chooses its own.
notes_carried: Option<bool>Whether a sync app carries this device’s notes folder, as you said on
a phone, where Sioul cannot read the sync apps’ settings; none: guessed
(the app’s notes_carried). Never shared.
notes_carried_for: Option<String>The notes folder that answer was given for: it counts for that folder alone; the notes moved (into a folder a sync app carries, or out of one), it is asked again, guessed meanwhile (review of 10 October 2026, R12). None: an answer given before, taken for the notes folder of then (the app writes it in at its next start).
Implementations§
Source§impl Here
impl Here
Whether this device shares a part: as chosen here, else as before parts had switches.
pub fn path(state: &Path) -> PathBuf
Sourcepub fn save(&self, state: &Path) -> Result<(), String>
pub fn save(&self, state: &Path) -> Result<(), String>
Its bytes on the disk before its name changes: lost, this computer would take another name.
Sourcepub fn folder_path(&self) -> Option<PathBuf>
pub fn folder_path(&self) -> Option<PathBuf>
The folder shared through, ~ expanded.
Sourcepub fn notes_said(&self, notes: &Path) -> Option<bool>
pub fn notes_said(&self, notes: &Path) -> Option<bool>
What you said of the notes folder notes (notes_carried), when you
said it of that folder.
