How a setting is edited.

Variants§

§

Bool

On or off.

§

Int

A whole number, between min and max.

§

Float

A number with decimals, between min and max by step.

§

Choice

One of choices.

§

Picks

Some of choices, each ticked or not: value lists those ticked.

§

Text

§

Long

Several lines.

§

Folder

A folder on disk.

§

Font

A font family.

§

Week

Minutes for each weekday, Monday first.

§

Windows

Hours for each day of the week: on or off, from a start to an end.

§

TimeOff

Days off: from a day to another.

§

Senders

Addresses and @domains, one per row.

§

Words

Words, one per row.

§

Areas

What a source is for: work, your admin, leisure, any of them together (“admin+leisure”).

§

Routes

A project’s routes: domains, addresses, words in the subject or the text.

§

Kinds

Kinds of task: each renamed in place or taken away; new ones added.

§

Categories

Categories in use: each renamed or taken off every task that has it.

§

Collections

Task lists, calendars, address books: renamed in place, deleted when empty.

§

Note

Nothing to change: what a lane holds (label) and how mail lands there (help, a line each).

§

Secret

A secret kept in the system keyring, typed and never shown: value says whether one is kept.

Nothing to change here: a button to where it is changed (value: “needs”, the Health page’s meals and sleep).

§

Action

Nothing to change: a sentence (help) and a button (label) that does one thing when pressed, never by itself; pressing it saves true under its key (the projects’ file renamed: projects::rename_file).

§

Radios

Round buttons in a grid: rows down, choices across, one per row; value lists each row’s as “row:column”; saved a row at a time (<key>.<row>): what Sioul’s own spam filter does with each verdict.

§

Spam

Sioul’s own spam filter, the window’s own block (SpamFilter.qml): on a computer, “Train now” and what the last training found; on a phone, where its table comes from. Nothing in value.

§

Filters

The mail filters, the window’s own block (MailFilters.qml): the list, each in words, its editor, “Try it” and running them on the inboxes; read and written whole (config::set_filters). Nothing in value.
