Expand description

Why a security key could not be used, each with its sentence.

Variants§

§

Unsupported

This build of Sioul reaches no security key.

§

NoService

The system’s smart card service does not answer: pcscd on Linux, the Smart Card service on Windows.

§

Absent

No security key is plugged in, or not the one wanted.

§

Busy

Another program holds the key for itself: GnuPG, most often (a “sharing violation”).

§

WrongPin

The PIN was wrong; tries left.

Fields

§left: u8

Tries left.

§

Blocked

The PIN is locked, after three wrong ones.

§

TouchMissed

The key waited for a touch that did not come.

§

Removed

The key went away in the middle.

§

NotOpenPgp

What is plugged in holds no OpenPGP keys.

§

OtherKeys

The key no longer holds the keys Sioul knows: its fingerprints changed.

§

BadSignature

The key signed, but not with the key its certificate names.

§

Algorithm(String)

An algorithm Sioul does not use with a security key.

§

Other(String)

Anything else, as the system said it.
