Expand description

The Porch’s checks for mail already kept (admission), read from its file with what the Porch reads beside it: every account’s trusted ids and words, your projects and the mail tied to them, who may reach you, your own addresses, the AI’s readings of shielded mail. A project’s page, the mail tied when a project’s routes change, the agents’ consent and their list_projects ask it before a project takes a message.

What it says of a file is remembered for the life of the process (VERDICTS), by the file’s path, size and time, under the seal of what the gate read (Gate::seal): an agent’s tools make a gate at each call, and each message is read once, until a list, a project, a tie, the words, an AI reading or the ten minutes now falls in change.

Fields§

§sources: Vec<Source>§store: Option<ProjectStore>§known: SenderList§senders: Senders§own_domains: Vec<String>§own_addresses: Vec<String>§assessments: Option<BTreeMap<String, Assessment>>§now: i64

Now, Unix seconds: a code past its validity protects nothing.

§seal: u64

What the verdicts rest on, hashed (Gate::seal).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Gate

Source

pub fn new( sources: Vec<Source>, store: Option<ProjectStore>, known: SenderList, senders: Senders, now: i64, ) -> Gate

Source

fn seal(&self) -> u64

What its verdicts rest on, hashed: each account’s place, address, ids and words, the projects with their routes and ties, the lists, the address books (the same as long as their files are, Book::load), the AI’s readings, and the ten minutes now falls in (a code’s validity).

Source

pub fn forget_verdicts()

Forgets every verdict remembered: the next gate reads each file again.

Source

pub fn load(config: &Config, now: i64) -> Gate

As the configuration says: its accounts, its projects with the mail tied to them (links.toml), the senders you let in, the four lists.

Source

pub fn admission(&self, card: &Card) -> Option<Admission>

Whether a project may take this message, read from one of the accounts’ folders (card.path); none when it is in none of them.

Source

pub fn admission_of_file(&self, path: &Path) -> Option<Admission>

Whether a project may take the message stored in this file; none when it cannot be read, or is in none of the accounts’ folders. Remembered by the file’s path, size and time (VERDICTS).

Source

pub fn routed<'a>( &self, routes: &[&Route], files: impl IntoIterator<Item = &'a Path>, ) -> Vec<String>

The Message-IDs, among the messages stored in files, that one of routes takes as the Porch would (Admission::for_routes): what to tie to their project when its routes change.
