}
Expand description

Your address books, as who may reach you needs them (docs/porch.md, “Who may reach you, and when”): who is in them, by address, number, name and card, with each card’s categories. Read from every address book, on a server or on this device only, read-only ones too.

Fields§

§cards: Vec<BookCard>§by_address: HashMap<String, Vec<usize>>

Address, lower case → its cards.

§by_number: HashMap<String, Vec<usize>>

A number’s key (phones::key) → its cards.

§by_name: HashMap<String, Vec<usize>>

A name as compared (name_key) → its cards.

§names: BTreeMap<String, String>

Every category in use, as compared → as first written.

§region: Option<&'static Region>

The country numbers written without one were read as.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Book

Source

pub fn of(contacts: &[Contact], region: Option<&'static Region>) -> Book

From contacts; region reads their numbers written without a country.

Source

pub fn cards_of_address(&self, address: &str) -> &[usize]

The cards holding this address.

Source

pub fn cards_of_number(&self, key: &str) -> &[usize]

The cards holding this number, by its key.

Source

pub fn cards_named(&self, name: &str) -> &[usize]

The cards with this very name (name_key).

Source

pub fn card(&self, index: usize) -> Option<&BookCard>

A card, by its place.

Source

pub fn find(&self, id: &str) -> Option<usize>

A card’s place, by its UID or its file.

Source

pub fn categories_of(&self, cards: &[usize]) -> Vec<String>

The categories of these cards, as compared, each once.

Source

pub fn of_address(&self, address: &str) -> Vec<String>

The categories of the cards holding this address, as compared.

Source

pub fn names(&self) -> Vec<String>

Every category in use, as first written, in order.

Source

pub fn numbers(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &str>

Every number on a card, by its key.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

How many cards.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Source

pub fn region(&self) -> Option<&'static Region>

The country numbers written without one were read as.

Source

pub fn load(region: Option<&'static Region>) -> Arc<Book> ⓘ

From every address book, kept while their files do not change: read again only when one is added, changed or taken away, or the country numbers are read in changes; never per message or per call.
