Your ratio of time spent to first guesses, and each kind’s.
Fields§
§person: f32The log of your ratio, pulled toward the prior until it stands.
count: f32The weight of tasks behind it (typed ones counting little).
kinds: BTreeMap<&'static str, (f32, f32)>Each kind: its log ratio pulled toward yours, and the weight behind it.
sigma: f32The spread of a task’s log ratio around its kind’s.
today: f32Today’s own effect so far (log), from what was finished today, and how sure it is (its σ).
today_sigma: f32Implementations§
Source§impl Ratios
impl Ratios
pub fn factor(&self, kind: &str) -> f32
Sourcepub fn corrected(&self, estimate: u32, kind: &str) -> Option<u32>
pub fn corrected(&self, estimate: u32, kind: &str) -> Option<u32>
A task’s length as the plan lays it: its estimate times its kind’s ratio. Only for a task with an estimate of its own: the person’s estimate is corrected, never replaced (TE16, TE32).
Sourcepub fn today_factor(&self) -> f32
pub fn today_factor(&self) -> f32
Today’s factor on what is left of today: a day going slower makes its steps longer; a faster one changes nothing (the plan never fills more on the strength of one morning).
Sourcepub fn line(&self, kind: &str, tr: &Translator) -> String
pub fn line(&self, kind: &str, tr: &Translator) -> String
The line the task panel shows on request (TE25–26): only when the kind’s ratio stands on at least five tasks and differs from 1× by 15 % or more.
