Expand description

A computer’s desktop: Plasma’s inhibitions held, by pause; GNOME’s switch and what dconf says of it.

Fields§

§desk: D§held: Vec<(Which, Box<dyn Held>, Instant)>

Plasma’s inhibitions held, by pause, and since when.

§heard: Option<(Box<dyn Heard>, Instant)>

dconf’s changes of GNOME’s switch while Sioul holds it, and from when they are the person’s.

§quiet: Arc<Mutex<Instant>>

Set before each change of Sioul’s own: what follows the session’s do-not-disturb waits until then, so as never to take it for the person’s.

§watch: Option<Box<dyn Watching>>

The session’s own do-not-disturb followed, while the window runs.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<D: Desk> Desktop<D>

Source

pub(super) fn new(desk: D) -> Self

Source

fn holding(&self, which: Which) -> bool

Source

pub(super) fn revoked(&self, which: Which) -> bool

Plasma’s inhibition for which ended from its applet (the person turned do-not-disturb off there, which drops every application’s), as the session’s Inhibited says: off while Sioul holds one.

Source

fn hush(&self)

A change of Sioul’s own comes: what follows the session waits a moment.

Source

pub(super) fn gnome_on(&mut self, ask: &Ask, kept: &mut Kept) -> Done

GNOME’s switch, as asked: on only from off, only with the person’s yes.

Source

pub(super) fn gnome_off(&mut self, others: &[Ask], kept: &mut Kept) -> Vec<Said>

GNOME’s switch off again when the last pause that wanted it leaves, and only if nobody touched it meanwhile.

Source§

impl<D: Desk> Platform for Desktop<D>

Source§

fn can(&mut self, _tr: &Translator) -> Done

What this device allows, changing nothing.
Source§

fn on(&mut self, ask: &Ask, kept: &mut Kept, tr: &Translator) -> Done

ask’s pause silenced, or brought up to date; idempotent given kept.
Source§

fn off(&mut self, which: Which, others: &[Ask], kept: &mut Kept) -> Done

which’s pause no longer silenced, and nothing else; others: the pauses still on here.
Source§

fn system_on(&mut self) -> Option<bool>

This device’s own do-not-disturb, as its system says it now; none where it cannot be read. (A computer’s says it through still_on.)
Source§

fn system_off(&mut self, consent: bool) -> bool

Sioul’s do-not-disturb went off here: the system’s own off too, once, where Sioul can (consent: GNOME’s yes). Whether something was turned off.
Source§

fn still_on(&mut self) -> Option<Done>

While Sioul’s do-not-disturb is off here: the system’s own still on, said.
Source§

fn outlives(&mut self, kept: &Kept) -> bool

Whether what Sioul turned on outlives Sioul’s process (kept, as Sioul quits).
Source§

fn listen(&mut self, told: Arc<dyn Fn(bool) + Send + Sync>)

Follows this system’s own do-not-disturb, telling each change heard.
Source§

fn holds(&self, which: Which) -> bool

Whether what on did for which still holds in this process.
