pub fn private_dirs(dir: &Path) -> Result<()>Expand description
What the sharing writes is yours alone on Unix, as the calls’ logs are
(sioul_core::calls::append_private): its files 0600, the folders it
makes 0700, whatever the umask would let others read (the records, sealed
files, the files it brings in from your other devices, the copies it
keeps). A file there already with a wider mode is made yours alone the
next time the sharing writes it: written beside then renamed, it takes the
new file’s mode; appended to or copied, its mode is set. Never by a sweep
of your folders. Where modes mean nothing (a phone’s shared storage,
Windows), nothing is asked and nothing said. These folders made, with
their parents, each 0700; folders there already keep their mode.
