The same, each heard when its notes, its entry in the devices’ registry
(devices) or its last record that opens last said so, the latest: a
device put away restates its notes once a day (write_seen), its entry
once an hour (devices::RESTATED), as Settings says when each was last
heard of. A device whose records came before its notes and its entry (each
file travels on its own) is heard of by its records: the doses count it,
in doubt, until its entry comes (review of 5 October 2026, F5).
