A content opened into target (a new hidden file beside the one it will
replace, share::temporary), and checked against its hash: whole and
right, or nothing (target removed). Never more than LARGEST bytes
written, whatever the file says. Opened from the folder, else from the
copy fetched from its server beside it (remote::overlay, brought by
remote::fetch_wanted): a copy fetched that does not open whole is taken
out there, and fetched again.
