The one thread that runs the window’s exchanges, each when it is due (docs/database.md, “Sent as soon as it is saved”): asked, at once; saves seen, two seconds after the last, five after the first at most. What is wanted while one runs makes the next. One that fails (a panic) never stops the next ones.
