An exchange, when sharing is on: off the window’s thread; the pages read
again when changes came in.
One exchange here and now, on the calling thread, without the window (an
Android alarm wakes Sioul with nothing on the screen): with fetch_first,
what the other devices wrote is waited for first (news): Sioul’s own
pull alone while it works, else the sync app asked and given twenty
seconds. None when sharing is off. Waits for an exchange running.
